In 1956, Maher Funeral Home purchased an additional facility in South Euclid, Ohio.

In 1973, Maher Funeral Home merged with the Melbourne Funeral Home of Euclid Avenue in East Cleveland. The Melbourne Funeral Home was also family owned, having been established in 1898.

“We’ve been in funeral service for over 100 years. We believe you aren’t excellent because you reach 100 years, but you reach 100 because you deliver excellence” –Kevin Maher
